Vaasan Vuoden Työnantaja &
International Employer of the Year 

JCI Vaasa järjestää Vaasan Vuoden Työnantaja & International Employer of the Year 2026 -kilpailun. Kilpailu tunnustaa alueen parhaat työnantajat.
 

Kilpailuun voi ilmiantaa minkä tahansa Vaasan alueen työnantajan. Ilmianto on vapaamuotoinen ja maksuton. Voittaja julkistetaan palkintojuhlassa 4. joulukuuta 2026.

Kilpailun kategoriat

Kilpailussa on kaksi kategoriaa. Yritys voi osallistua yhteen tai molempiin.

1. Vaasan Vuoden Työnantaja

Tämä kategoria on avoin kaikille Vaasan alueen työnantajille. Kilpailussa etsitään työnantajaa, joka on luonut aidosti hyvän ja inhimillisen työpaikan, jossa ihmiset viihtyvät, kehittyvät ja tuntevat itsensä arvostetuiksi.

Arviointikriteerit:

• Henkilöstön hyvinvointi ja työilmapiiri

• Johtaminen ja esihenkilötyö

• Kehittymismahdollisuudet

• Yhteisöllisyys ja arvot

• Yleinen työnantajakuva

2. International Employer of the Year

Tämä kategoria on tarkoitettu työnantajille, jotka aktiivisesti rekrytoivat, palkkaavat ja tukevat kansainvälisiä työntekijöitä. Vaasan alueen voittaja edustaa Vaasaa kansallisessa JCI Finland -kilpailussa keväällä 2027.

Arviointikriteerit:

• Kansainvälinen rekrytointi ja perehdytys

• Tuki kansainvälisille työntekijöille arjessa

• Monikielisyys ja saavutettavuus

• Monikulttuurinen työyhteisö

• Konkreettiset ohjelmat tai aloitteet kansainvälisen henkilöstön hyväksi

Yritys voi osallistua molempiin kategorioihin yhdellä ilmiannolla. Tällöin ilmiannon tulee vastata molempien kategorioiden kriteereihin. Yritys voi voittaa yhden tai molemmat palkinnot.

 

Kuka voi ilmiantaa?

Kuka tahansa voi laatia ilmiannon kilpailuun. Et tarvitse erityistä asemaa tai lupaa, vaan riittää, että tunnet yrityksen ja uskot sen ansaitsevan tunnustuksen.

Voit ilmiantaa esimerkiksi, jos olet:

• työntekijä, joka haluaa nostaa oman työnantajansa esiin

• työnhakija, joka on kokenut poikkeuksellisen hyvän rekrytointiprosessin

• liikekumppani tai asiakas, joka on nähnyt yrityksen toimintatavan läheltä

• kansainvälinen työntekijä, joka haluaa kiittää työnantajaansa hyvästä vastaanotosta

• yritys itse, sillä myös itsensä ilmiantaminen on sallittua.

Ilmianto ei sido sinua mihinkään. Se on yksinkertainen tapa antaa tunnustusta hyvälle työnantajalle.

JCI Vaasa is running the Vaasa Employer of the Year & International Employer of the Year 2026 competition. The competition recognises the region’s best employers: those who build genuinely great workplaces and support diverse, international teams.

Any employer in the Vaasa region can be nominated. Nominations are free and open to everyone. The winner will be announced at the award ceremony on 4 December 2026.

 

Competition Categories

There are two categories. A company can enter one or both.

1. Vaasa Employer of the Year

This category is open to all employers in the Vaasa region. It recognises an employer that has built a genuinely great workplace, a place where people feel valued, grow, and want to stay.

Judging criteria:

• Employee wellbeing and workplace culture

• Leadership and management

• Opportunities for growth and development

• Community and values

• Overall employer reputation

2. International Employer of the Year

This category is for employers who actively recruit, hire, and support international employees. The Vaasa region winner will represent Vaasa in the national JCI Finland competition in spring 2027.

Judging criteria:

• International recruitment and onboarding

• Support for international employees in daily life

• Multilingual communication and accessibility

• Multicultural workplace culture

• Concrete programmes or initiatives for international staff

 

A company can enter both categories with a single nomination. In that case, the nomination must address the criteria for both. The company can win one or both awards.

 

Who Can Nominate?

Anyone can nominate. You don’t need a special role or permission. All you need is to know the company and believe it deserves recognition.

​

You can nominate if you are, for example:

• an employee who wants to highlight their employer

• a job seeker who experienced an exceptionally good recruitment process

• a business partner or customer who has seen the company’s way of working up close

• an international employee who wants to thank their employer for a great welcome

• the company itself, as self-nominations are welcome.

Nominating doesn’t commit you to anything. It’s a simple way to give credit where credit is due.
